I started playing the game of golf when I was 21. A friend of mine started playing and I joined in so we could hang. I remember the shot that made me fall in love with the game. It was on the par 4 9th tee at Innsbruck Golf Club in Helen, GA. We waited for a group of deer to cross the fairway and I hit the purest 3 iron straight down the middle.
My mother was an inspiration to me and always found time to volunteer with causes that were important to her. With my love for the game of golf it was only fitting that I become a volunteer coach for First Tee Utah.
With 8 years of volunteer work under my belt, I was presented with an opportunity to become a full time coach and enter the PGM program through the PGA.
I am a Chapter Coach and Site Coordinator for First Tee Utah at Mulligan’s Golf and Games in South Jordan, Utah.
